Well Baby Program

Well Baby Program

Congratulations on your new baby and welcome to the Well Baby Program at Greenbelt Family Health Team!  Our team is very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the first 2 years of your baby’s life.  This program consists of frequent visits with our nurses and doctors, where your baby will be closely monitored.  He/she will be weighed and measured, and their growth will be plotted on growth charts for you to see, we will assess your child’s developmental milestones, the nurses will offer and administer vaccines, and your doctor will do a physical assessment and answer any of your questions.

The Registered Dietitian is part of this team for individual consultations as needed, particularly if your baby is not growing as you expected or if your baby has food allergies or you simply have a lot of nutrition questions for your baby.  The Registered Dietitian also offers a Starting to Feed your Baby Solids course which talks about specific nutrition needs from 6 to 12 months of age.

Team Members: Registered Nurses,  your physician and dietitian
