Nutrition

Our Registered Dietitian will provide individual counselling for a variety of different health conditions as well as healthy eating throughout the lifecycle. For nutrition resources during pregnancy, for infants, school aged children and seniors, please see each respective program.

Nutrition can impact all aspects of life and the Registered Dietitian will work with you to set realistic and balanced eating and food goals to optimize your health. The services provided by the Registered Dietitian are free of charge for clients of Greenbelt Family Health Team.

Healthy, Balanced & Joyful Eating:

The Registered Dietitian approaches eating and nutrition from a non-dieting, Health at Every Size (https://haescommunity.com/) lens.  We work to reduce weight stigma, bias and discrimination.  As such, when working with clients,  nutrition guidance is provided from a weight neutral lens, focusing on realistic and balanced eating choices and patterns, no matter your size, that you can see implementing in your life long term.  The Registered Dietitian is available to work with clients individually with a referral from their doctor or clients can access an online course independently for general strategies on healthy and balanced eating.
